Für den Erstling wurde folgende Rezeptur gewählt:
 
85% Anteil aus Bourbon-Fässern 
11% Anteil aus Oloroso Sherry-Fässern 
4% Anteil aus Fino Sherry-Fässern
 Dabei sind die jüngsten Anteile 5 Jahre alt, die ältesten beinahe 8 Jahre. Das Ergebnis ist ein üppiger Inselmalt mit 12-15 ppm Torfgehalt.
Abgefüllt in einer wirklich geschmackvoll gestalteten Flasche, kommt der Hearach selbstverständlich in natürlicher Farbe und unter Verzicht auf Kühl-Filtrierung daher.

The following recipe was chosen for the debut:

85% from bourbon barrels

11% from Oloroso sherry casks

4% from Fino Sherry casks

The youngest shares are 5 years old and the oldest are almost 8 years old. The result is a lush island malt with 12-15 ppm peat content.

Filled in a really tastefully designed bottle, the Hearach naturally comes in a natural color and does not require cooling filtration.
