The Ichiro's Malt & Grain from Japan was created by Ichiro Akuto, the master behind the Chichibu distillery. This fascinating blend impresses with its creamy texture and aromas of vanilla, coconut and caramel.

In Ichiro's own words, it is a "world whiskey" based primarily on Ichiro's malt, but complemented by a selection of Scottish, Irish, Canadian and American whiskeys. These whiskeys were first matured abroad for 3-5 years before being brought to Japan for a further 1-3 years of aging. The result is a successful combination of Japanese and international whiskey styles
