The Distillers Edition is now one of the classics from some whiskey distilleries such as Talisker, Lagavulin, Cragganmore or Caol Ila. This Islay distillery is one of our personal favorites and with the Distillers Edition shows what great balanced single malts they can produce. With the Caol Ila Distillers Edition, the single malt is allowed to mature again in Moscatel sherry casks for some time after maturing in ex-bourbon casks. There is a new edition every year. For us one of the price-performance winners on Islay, the combination of strong wine barrels and strong peat smoke is unique!
