Aroma

Amber. Very sweet. Initially it's all caramel cream, caramelized fructose, wood sugar, toffee and fudge before some apple and peach comes through. Over time a charred note of bourbon with a nice dusty dryness. Has some power.

Deep and dark.

Aroma

The opening is sweet and quite bold, and although the alcohol causes a slight tingling sensation on the tongue, the result is a good weight on the mid-palate. The dry distillery character is still there, but there is now a depth to counteract that. Water takes back some of the various elements but adds some dried mint.
