The Starward X Lagavulin matured in peated Scottish whisky casks from the world-famous Lagavulin Distillery . Following the characteristic red wine maturation, the Australian single malt spent a further 18 months in the delicious Islay casks.
The result? Perhaps Starward’s most exciting limited edition bottling to date. The Starward X Lagavulin combines tropical notes of nectarine and dark roasted pineapple with strong, earthy coastal peat and a smoldering, dry oak finish .
And: Gives a taste of the new design from the Australians. It is packaged in a high-quality box in Lagavulin green with embossing .
